SPECIALS
The screw-driven screening drum, the variety of equipment options and changeable screening drums with different mesh sizes and shapes make the SM 518 A the ultimate choice for a wide variety of applications. The drum has a diameter of 1.8 m with an approx. length of 5 m and a screen surface of 22.5 m2, which can be optimally utilized thanks to the patented material infeed that is controlled in line with machine loading.
The screw is positioned internally, permitting a horizontal installation of the machine. Power is effectively and mechanically transferred by the direct sprocket wheel drive with geared motors installed on the screening drum’s body.
Doppstadt’s SM series screening machines are able to screen waste products and raw materials such as compost, soils, light-weight building rubble, household waste, commercial waste, plastics, glass, paper, wood, biomass, sand, gravel, scrap or slag and are thus ideally suited for use in combination, e.g., with shredders or air separators from Doppstadt.
The screening drums of the SM 518 A are identical to those used in our mobile machines and are thus interchangeable. The wide range of screening drums ensures maximum flexibility and optimum adaptability to material requirements, particularly for continuous operation requirements.
