IFAT 2026: innovation, networking and sustainability at the heart of the global environmental industry
From May 4 to 7, 2026, Munich hosted a record-breaking edition of IFAT Munich 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies, recycling, resource management and circular economy solutions.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, IFAT once again confirmed its role as a global hub for sustainable innovation, bringing together around 3,400 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and over 142,000 visitors from nearly 160 nations. The event represented a key international meeting point for companies, institutions and professionals involved in the ecological transition and the development of advanced recycling technologies. For Cesaro Mac Import, IFAT 2026 was an important opportunity to strengthen its international presence and confirm its position as a technological partner for the recycling and waste management industries.
At Hall B4 – Stand 329, Cesaro showcased some of its flagship technologies dedicated to organic waste treatment and resource recovery:
- the patented Tiger Depack® depackaging system for organic waste;
- the UM320 Mixer, designed for advanced material preparation and mixing processes;
- Il Girasole, the tunnel composting technology developed for integrated waste treatment plants.
The exhibition also highlighted the solutions of Cesaro’s international partners, including Sennebogen, Doppstadt, Lindner, MTB Recycling and ALLRECO, presenting innovative technologies for recycling, material handling and advanced waste processing.
The 2026 edition strongly emphasized the key challenges shaping the future of the environmental industry: circular economy, raw material security, digitalization, emission reduction and energy recovery. More than 400 conferences, forums and live demonstrations transformed IFAT into a global platform for networking and knowledge sharing. (IFAT Munich)
